Marianna Farkas
Private Tour Guide Budapest
I am accessible and easy to do business with. You can email me anytime and I’ll get back to you within a day local time but I might reach you a little later because of the time difference.
If you would like to call me I’ll try my best to answer all calls personally during working hours.
I am usually in touch with my clients through emails but don’t hesitate to call as in one phone call I can solve things that otherwise take a few emails to exchange back and forth!
The big advantage is that as we talk, you can gain a personal feeling about who I am and how I work. The best time to call me is between 10am – 7pm Central European Time.

The Ultimate Tour
A long day tour that gives you a detailed overview of the city
You can choose whether you want to do the ‘Ultimate tour’ in one day or split it into two half-days. My advice is to do it in two half days – this makes it easier to absorb the impressions and information and also less tiring.
Andrássy avenue
A walk along the turn of the century
The Andrássy boulevard runs from the Inner City, the Erzsébet tér (Elisabeth Square) to the Hősök tere (Heroes’ Square) and is 3.3 km long, was built at the end of the 19th century and offers a unique view of the “golden age” of Hungary. On the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2002.
Walk the Jewish district
The life of Jews in Budapes
It is hard to think of a place in Budapest that is developing faster than the district best known recently as ‘the old’ Jewish quarter. Since the 19th century jews were allowed to settle in Erzsébetváros on Pest side. This has resulted in 3 synagogues being built here, including the once-largest in the world, the Dohány Synagogue.
Budapest by night
Unforgettable tour of the illuminated city
Budapest is often referred to as the “City of Lights of the East”. The city is very special when the mood lights of the famous and less famous buildings are on. New objects are added every year, which are beautifully illuminated. The highlight of this tour is the view from the Fisherman’s Bastion in the castle district: the most beautiful evening panorama of Central Europe.
